Brian finished his latest four month run at the Hollywood Casino in September, and was back at home in New England for a little well-deserved time off. Details from that gig, and an interesting historical sidebar to it are on the July/Aug 2004 page. (link below at bottom of this column)
The fantastic Fall colors of New England have been in their full glory these past weeks; Brian had a few sunny days around home to break the classic old Buick out of storage and get out on some scenic back roads (along with all the other leaf-peeping tourists), and make a most important trip, to go see his newborn grandaughter!
It wasn't too long, though, before he needed to be back into character, and onstage. The annual dance-party night on Halloween weekend, hosted by local radio station WARE "Oldies 1250" brought Brian and Massachusetts band Union Jack together again.
An mp3 of him singing the beautiful "Unchained Melody"
backed by them is on the AUDIO page.
Mid November found him on a plane to Florida for a weeklong stay -- reuniting for several new tribute shows with Pete Alden (Brian's partner in their prior "Elvis and Roy, The Lost Concert" productions -
an mp3 of "Elvis and Roy" is also on the AUDIO page
...then catching a next-days-flight-back to New England so that Roy could appear on his own at a special benefit in Massachusetts on Saturday November 27th.
